The Amône water intake is the second intake of the EAST collector. Smaller than Fouly’s, it is situated at an altitude of 1572.5 metres.
The funnelled water comes from the Reuse de l’Amône. The water is led into a 30-metre-long grit trap over a 4% slope.
The BOURNE type flush valve allows rubble to be discharged from below. The water is then funnelled into a tunnel by a weir. The canal from La Fouly continues for 66 metres before entering the tunnel.
