The Triège pumping station on the left bank links Emaney to the Emosson dam. It consists of 3 pumps each with a flow of 600 litres/second.
If the water level of the dam is low (below 1902 meters) the water is in free flow and flows directly into the lake. If the level in the dam is above 1902 metres, the pumps come into operation and push the water back into the dam.
