The Corbes site includes a chamber composed of two butterfly valves as well as two very distinct shafts. The first belonging to SBB and the second to Emosson.
This chamber is located 800 meters downstream from the Emosson dam and connected to the dam by a tunnel dug into the rock.
The water then moves into a 1145-metre-long reinforced shaft, ending its journey at the Vallorcine power plant.
SBB water arrives, via the second shaft, at the SBB power station in Châtelard.
