The Planereuse water intake is the fourth intake of a series of six intakes on the EAST collector. After Fouly, Amône and Treutse-Bo.
The water comes from the Planereuse stream and flows through a grate into a grit trap. It settles over a length of 18 metres on a slope of 5%.
After passing through the grit trap, the water is brought to the tunnel by a weir placed at an elevation of 1565.9 metres. The water then continues its route through a pipe measuring 0.6 metres in diameter and 74 metres in length (slope: approx. 1%) and ends in the EAST collector.
